How often does a listing renew?
Every listing runs for 4 months per quantity, or until it sells out, whichever comes first, then renews automatically for another $0.20. The default of 3 renewals a year matches a listing that never sells out, raise it if your stock turns over faster.
Does relisting a sold-out item cost the same?
Yes. Whether a listing renews on its own after 4 months or because you relist a sold-out item, it is the same $0.20 fee.
Can I avoid renewal fees?
Only by deactivating a listing instead of letting it renew. For slow movers, weigh the $0.20 against the search ranking that listing has already built up.
