What are the exact Star Seller requirements?
A 4.8+ average star rating, at least 95% of orders shipped on time with tracking, and at least 95% of first messages answered within 24 hours, all checked on a rolling basis. You also need at least 5 orders and $300 in sales over the past 3 months to be evaluated at all.
Why does a shortfall show 0?
Zero means you already meet that requirement. Etsy re-checks your stats on a rolling basis, so a pass today is not permanent, keep an eye on all three.
Does Star Seller affect my search ranking?
Etsy has not confirmed a direct ranking boost, but the badge shows next to your shop in search and improves buyer trust and conversion. Treat the three metrics as good practice regardless of the badge itself.
