Poshmark Bundle Discounts: How to Protect Profit in 2026

SellersNest·

Three resale items packed as one bundle while the seller calculates discount and shipping costs

A profitable Poshmark bundle discount is one that increases the chance of selling multiple items without pushing your payout per item below your acceptable floor. Start with the bundle’s total list price, subtract the discount, apply Poshmark’s commission to the discounted total, then subtract only the shipping costs you actually fund—such as an offer’s shipping discount or an overweight-label upgrade.

Use the Poshmark Bundle Discount Calculator to compare the bundle price, fee, payout and average payout per item. If the buyer pays the normal shipping charge and you do not need an upgraded label, enter $0 for seller shipping cost.

How Poshmark bundles work in 2026

A Posh Bundle groups multiple available listings from one seller’s closet into one order. Poshmark’s January 2026 feature guide says buyers can use bundles to purchase multiple items under one shipping price, communicate privately with the seller and either make an offer or buy the bundle.

Sellers can also create an automatic Seller Discount:

  1. Open the Account tab.
  2. Select My Seller Discount.
  3. Enable the bundle discount.
  4. Choose the percentage discount.
  5. Choose the minimum number of items required.

The automatic discount applies to eligible for-sale listings when the buyer completes a qualifying bundle purchase. Sellers can also send a private Bundle offer and may include a shipping discount.

Poshmark bundle fees

Poshmark’s current US seller fee structure applies to the bundle’s discounted order total, not separately to each item:

  • Under $15: $2.95 flat commission.
  • $15 or more: 20% commission, so the seller keeps 80% before other seller-funded costs.

A basic bundle payout estimate is:

Bundle payout = Discounted bundle price − Poshmark fee − Seller-funded shipping costs

The Poshmark seller fee guide explains the wider fee structure and individual-sale examples.

What to enter as shipping cost in the calculator

Do not automatically subtract Poshmark’s standard buyer shipping charge from your payout. Poshmark currently states that the buyer pays a flat US shipping fee for the normal label. For the SellersNest calculator, the shipping-cost field should contain only costs deducted from your earnings.

Examples include:

  • a shipping discount you add to a private Bundle offer;
  • the cost of upgrading an overweight label;
  • an additional label purchased to split an eligible heavy order;
  • a carrier adjustment or non-compliance charge deducted from earnings.

If none of those apply, enter $0. This keeps the calculator from understating your expected payout.

Current US weight limits and upgrade costs

Poshmark announced new heavier-package tiers on February 13, 2026. Its standard label remains unchanged for packages up to 5 lb. The seller-funded upgrade tiers are currently:

Combined package weightSeller label-upgrade cost
Up to 5 lbNo upgrade cost
5.1–10 lb$5
10.1–15 lb$10

Poshmark says sellers pay the difference for the upgraded label, and the entire order can still ship together. The platform currently supports bundles up to 15 lb under these tiers. Confirm the weight and current price in Order Details before shipping because carrier and platform rules can change.

Worked bundle discount example

Assume three items have individual list prices totalling $90. The seller offers a 15% bundle discount.

  • Bundle list total: $90
  • 15% discount: $13.50
  • Discounted bundle price: $76.50
  • Poshmark fee at 20%: $15.30
  • Payout before seller-funded shipping: $61.20
  • Average payout per item: $20.40

If the packed bundle weighs 7 lb, the current $5 upgrade would reduce the payout to $56.20, or about $18.73 per item.

If the combined cost of acquiring the three items was $30, profit after the marketplace fee and weight upgrade would be:

$56.20 − $30 = $26.20

This example excludes labour, packaging, returns, tax and overhead. Use the Profit Margin Calculator when you need a fuller net-margin check.

Can bundling reduce the commission?

Sometimes—but not because Poshmark gives bundles a special commission rate. The order uses the normal fee schedule.

The difference can matter when low-priced items would each incur the $2.95 minimum if sold separately. Suppose three items sell individually for $12 each:

  • Individual payout per item: $12 − $2.95 = $9.05
  • Total payout from three separate sales: $27.15
  • Full-price $36 bundle fee at 20%: $7.20
  • Full-price bundle payout: $28.80

At full price, bundling produces $1.65 more payout because one 20% order fee is smaller than three flat fees. However, a 10% bundle discount changes the result:

  • Discounted bundle price: $32.40
  • 20% fee: $6.48
  • Bundle payout: $25.92

The discounted bundle now pays $1.23 less than the three individual sales. It may still be worthwhile if faster turnover, less handling and one shipment justify the trade-off, but the seller should make that decision consciously.

How large should a Poshmark bundle discount be?

There is no universal best percentage. A safe discount depends on item cost, fee treatment, package weight, seller-funded shipping and the minimum profit you require.

Use this process:

  1. Add the current list prices of all items.
  2. Calculate the bundle price at 10%, 15% and 20% off.
  3. Apply the correct Poshmark fee to each discounted total.
  4. Weigh the packed items, not each product separately.
  5. Add any shipping discount or label upgrade you fund.
  6. Subtract product costs and packaging.
  7. Compare total profit and average payout per item.

The guide to maximum profitable discounts explains why a discount percentage can reduce profit much faster than revenue.

Automatic discount or private Bundle offer?

Automatic Seller Discount

This works well when you want a clear, consistent incentive across the closet. The buyer sees the rule and the qualifying discount applies without negotiation. The risk is that the same percentage may be too generous for low-margin or heavy products.

Private Bundle offer

A private offer gives you more control over the price and any shipping discount. It is useful when the bundle contains products with different margins or creates an overweight package. Calculate the final payout before sending the offer.

Poshmark says adding items to a bundle does not reserve them. Until checkout is completed, another buyer can purchase an item. Avoid promising availability that the platform has not reserved.

Q4 bundle strategy for holiday sellers

Bundles are especially relevant during holiday shopping because buyers may be selecting gifts, outfits or related items from one closet. They can also help sellers increase average order value and move seasonal stock before demand ends.

Useful Q4 bundle ideas include:

  • same-size children’s clothing lots;
  • coordinated outfit bundles;
  • related accessories from the same brand;
  • giftable beauty or home-item sets where permitted;
  • slow stock paired with a proven seller;
  • seasonal products with a clear dispatch deadline.

Keep bundles practical. Combining bulky items can trigger a label upgrade, and excessive discounting can turn a larger order into a smaller profit. Weigh common combinations in advance and record the expected seller-funded shipping cost.

Five bundle mistakes that reduce profit

  1. Subtracting buyer-paid standard shipping from seller payout: enter only costs actually deducted from your earnings.
  2. Ignoring combined weight: several light items can exceed 5 lb once packaging is added.
  3. Applying one discount to every product: low-margin items may need exclusions or a private offer instead.
  4. Comparing revenue instead of profit: a $100 bundle is not automatically better than two profitable $45 sales.
  5. Forgetting cost per item: average payout can hide that one expensive item carries most of the margin.

Frequently asked questions

Does Poshmark charge its fee on every item in a bundle?

No. Poshmark applies the standard seller fee to the final discounted bundle total. The individual products are not each charged a separate commission inside that completed bundle order.

Who pays shipping on a normal Poshmark bundle?

The buyer normally pays Poshmark’s standard shipping charge for the order. The seller pays costs they choose or trigger, such as a shipping discount in an offer or an overweight-label upgrade.

What shipping cost should I enter in the calculator?

Enter only the amount deducted from your seller earnings. Use $0 when the buyer pays the normal shipping charge and no upgrade or seller-funded discount applies.

How much can a Poshmark bundle weigh?

Poshmark’s February 2026 US update supports heavier orders up to 15 lb. The current seller upgrade costs are $5 for 5.1–10 lb and $10 for 10.1–15 lb. Verify the live Order Details screen before shipping.

Are automatic bundle discounts applied to every listing?

Poshmark says eligible for-sale listings in the closet participate when the seller enables the discount and the buyer reaches the selected minimum item count. Review current settings before listing products with unusually low margins.

Is a bundle always more profitable than separate sales?

No. A bundle can reduce repeated minimum commissions on low-priced items, but the discount and heavier-label cost may outweigh that benefit. Compare both outcomes with your actual figures.
